
Discover the world of urban small-space gardening with the Cloud Gardener
Urban greenspaces are vital for the health of humans and the planet. They also play an important role in mitigating the impacts of climate change and make us happier, supporting our mental health.
The Cloud Gardener, Jason Williams, aims to inspire a new generation of urban gardeners. He hopes that their work encourages more urban residents to maximise on their unique growing spaces like a balcony garden.
Jason has recently returned from a tour across Europe and Asia to explore how different nations and government approach urban greening differently. Jason will bring this knowledge to the Manchester Community to advocate for making our city greener and healthier!
In this workshop you will hear from Jason about his work, how different communities implement Urban Greenspaces and how you can use this knowledge in your own spaces or future careers.
You will also hear about an very exciting upcoming opportunity to work with Jason to create your own small space gardens to feature at the Manchester Flower Festival
