Discover Manchester - City Tour
Join our experienced Manchester Met graduates and discover new places to shop, eat, and relax with your fellow student community while exploring Manchester. Connect with peers, pick up practical tips for navigating the city, and grow your confidence as you settle into student life and make Manchester your home.
On this accessible walking tour, our experienced graduates will show you some of the most useful and exciting spots to help you settle in to the city. Discover food shops, including local and international stores, and café’s where you can study or catch up with friends. We will also point out some of the more famous Manchester landmarks, including the Central Library and the Chinatown Arch.
Whether this is your first time living alone or you just need some advice, our graduates will be on hand to share practical tips and answer any questions you might have. Topics will also include navigating the post office, public transport, and signing up to a doctor.
