Creative Digital Placement with Sharp Futures

30th March to 14th April
Sharp Futures will be running a three-week for 20 Manchester Metropolitan University students to teach them new skills in the creative, digital and tech sector.

When you have worked through the Digital Skills Hub you will be eligible to apply for a Creative Digital Placement, hosted by SharpFutures at The Sharp Project in March / April 2026.

The placement will build on the creative digital skills you have built with the Digital Skills Hub, taking them into a real-life working environment with SharpFutures where your placement will involve working on briefs, meeting the team, learning about clients and developing your employability and workplace skills.

One of Manchester’s key production facilities, The Sharp Project is home to over 60 digital entrepreneurs and production companies specialising in digital content production, digital media and TV and film production. On-site tenants include JD Sports Studio, Discovery Education, Manchester Collective, Footasylum and 80 Hertz Studio.

Week one – Monday 30th March – Thursday 2nd April

Week two – Tuesday 7th April – Friday 10th April

Week three – Monday 13th April – Tuesday 14th April.

The placement will take place The Sharp Project, Thorp Rd, Manchester M40 5BJ 10am and 3pm.

The application process is expression of interest submitted via the Rise website. To be eligible for the placement, you must have registered on the Digital Skills Hub Platform.
