Celebrate Diwali

22nd October 14:00 to 16:00
Celebrate the spirit of Diwali with creativity and connection. Join us for a joyful diya decorating session where you can paint, design, and adorn diyas with colourful gems, spreading light, positivity, and festive cheer across the Health and Education faculty.

This Diwali-themed activity invites Health and Education students to come together and celebrate the Festival of Lights through a creative hands-on diya decorating session.

You will have the opportunity to design and paint their own clay diyas using vibrant paints, glitter, and decorative gems to produce unique pieces that reflect your personal style and festive spirit.

The event encourages reflection on themes of community, wellbeing, and gratitude while offering a relaxing and social environment away from academic pressures.

By the end of the activity, participants will have created beautifully decorated diyas to take home or display on campus, along with strengthened connections within the Health and Education community.

The experience promotes creativity, cultural appreciation, and teamwork, supporting personal and professional growth in an enjoyable and inclusive way.
