Board Game Jam

6th November to 8th November
Join us for two days of non-stop game-making magic! Team up, brainstorm, and create your very own board or card game from scratch. Perfect for future creatives and entrepreneurs.

What is the Board Game Jam?

A Game Jam is a two-day collaborative game creation event where you’ll team up, brainstorm, and craft a completely new card or board game from scratch! Get ready to dive into creative challenges and bring your ideas to life.

What’s in it for you?

Real-world skills: Experience responding to a tight deadline and build teamwork skills.

Creativity unleashed: Boost your ability to give and receive feedback, refine ideas, and learn the ins and outs of game-making.

Career-ready: Ideal for anyone interested in creative industries or entrepreneurship, plus it’s tons of fun!

Why join?

This Game Jam supports Joe Macleod-Iredale’s NWCDTP funded PhD investigating the benefits of game-making as a teaching tool. By participating, you’ll help shape new ways of learning!

Who’s running it?

Joe Macleod-Iredale — Design lecturer, Doctoral Researcher, ex-retail furniture design consultancy owner & game designer.
