This opportunity is open to undergraduate students with an interest in the marketing, creative, and/or digital sectors. You must be able to evidence this in your application. You do not need to be from a marketing or creative course to be able to apply.

This is your exclusive invite to join the Creative Digital Experts program, designed to support the development of your creative and digital skills, and empower you to explore your future career options in this interactive environment.
Join the SharpFutures team, based at the Sharp Project right here in Manchester, from June 2nd to June 18th 2025.
In this 3 week program you’ll engage in a variety of workshops, masterclasses, skills sessions, guest speakers, live briefs, and so much more.
Creative Digital Experts is designed to support you in building creative and digital skills, as well as personal and professional skills, understanding employability opportunities, tackling misinformation and assumptions regarding career pathways.
You will have the opportunity to gain real work life experience and understand the expectations and realities of the working environment. You will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively through a range of tasks.
Tasks will require you to collaborate on creative briefs, pitch ideas and concepts, reflect on professional and personal skills, and discuss their learnings.
By completing the Creative Digital Experts program, you will gain greater confidence in your skillset and decision-making in relation to your career journeys and next steps. You will also receive a certificate upon completion, examples of creative work for your portfolios, plus a professional headshot for use on LinkedIn and other platforms.
To participate you must:
- be available Monday to Wednesday from 2nd June to 18th June. By submitting your application you confirm that you are available during these dates.
- be able to travel to the Sharp Project during this time.
- have access to your own personal laptop or iPad to use throughout the duration of the program.
To support all students to engage with this programme we will also provide a stipend of £100 to cover any costs incurred for travel or other expenses.
You will have full access to the online Digital Skills Hub during the training programme, the daily itenerary is below (subject to alteration):
Week 1
Day 1: Induction, Skills Reflection and Introduction to Creative Brief.
Day 2: Becoming Work Ready.
Day 3: CV Building, Career Goals and Aspirations Masterclass.
Week 2
Day 1: Social Media and Marketing, and Branding and Design.
Day 2: Web Development and User Experience and Ideas Masterclass.
Day 3: Confidence Building and Resilience, Creative Brief Planning.
Week 3
Days 1&2: Creative Brief, group task.
Day 3: Presentation, Introduction to POD and Programme Completion.
