Submerge Festival – presentation and workshop
This session, part of the Future Flares Festival, will include a presentation on Submerge Festival, taking place across Manchester in June 2024, and how students can get involved as both organisers and creative artists. The session will also include guidance and support to MMU students on how they can develop proposals for making a contribution to Submerge Festival itself, or to a Submerge related event.
Submerge Festival is a meeting point for innovative performance, music and digital culture. Every two years, the festival unleashes a tidal wave of international artists throughout the streets, clubs, and emblematic venues of Manchester, turning every corner into a playground for wild ideas.
Established artists from across the globe present their work alongside the next generation of exciting newcomers, throughout a raft of events presented over two weekends. Submerge audiences are adventurous, open-minded and ready for anything.
Presented as part of the Future Flares Festival, supported by the Department of Art and Performance.
