Art and Design Futures: Connecting with Employers

Networking events for students from all Art and Design disciplines to connect with creative companies and practitioners to start planning for your own creative future.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.

This is the second of 2 creative networking events in Future Me week.

It is open to all Art and Design students and provides an opportunity to meet professionals from the creative industries (and potential future employers!) in an informal setting, to ask questions and get careers advice, with an emphasis on getting employed by a creative practice.

The session will start with short presentations from our industry professionals to introduce themselves. This will be followed by speed-networking, where students will move from table to table to talk to the different practices for 10 minutes at a time.

It should be fun and chaotic and informative! The only preparation you need to do is think about what you might want to ask the design professionals!
