Self-Awareness and your value
You’re probably wondering how self-awareness and understanding your unique value connect to confidence…but, hey, science indicates that the two might be intrinsically linked.
How? Let’s dig in:
Neural Plasticity: The more you practice self-awareness, the more you ‘train’ your brain to be confident. Neuroplasticity allows your brain to form new connections and pathways, improving your self-belief over time.
Serotonin: This chemical is associated with feelings of well-being and confidence, which naturally increase when you’re aware of your value
Dopamine: As we talk about in our other RISE self-study guide, ’Your Spoken Story Superpower’, dopamine is released when you achieve a goal or accomplish a task, reinforcing the positive attributes you recognise in yourself.
