Volunteer with MMU Sport: Assistant Men's Basketball Coach (MMU Sport Basketball Club)
The sports clubs programme at MMU provides students with the opportunity to represent the university in a range of different sports in the BUCS (British University and Colleges Sport) competitions.
This voluntary assistant coaching role will develop your knowledge of coaching practice, practice design, individual player development and team training. You will have the opportunity to observe and assist our qualified lead coaching team.
We are looking for students who exhibit our core student workforce behaviours;

In addition, students with the following skills and experience would be desirable;
· Foundation sport coaching knowledge / studying a sports coaching related degree programme.
· Coaching qualification or desire to work towards.
· Ambition to pursue a career in sports coaching.
· Coaching experience.
· Knowledge and experience of coaching.
· Strong organisational and communication skills.
· A passion for helping people and a willingness to learn and improve.
