Introduction

STRIVER – You’ve made it through the first part!  Well done.  How were the last four weeks?  Did you surprise yourself?  We really hope you see yourself and what you can achieve from a position of strength not deficit.  You STRIVER, are brilliant – don’t forget that. 

You are now into Part two of the programme – Employment and Employability. 

This part of the programme is focused thinking about how you align your strengths and capabilities to future career opportunities. We also help you employ tactics to better navigate employment spaces and achieve your goals. 

In Part 2 of the programme you will:

1. Gain knowledge and understanding of graduate level and higher level skills 
2. Gain understanding of the transferability of skills gained during STRIVE 100 to employment opportunities 
3. Gain understanding of the transferability of your strengths to different roles and industries 
4. Reflect on what you have learned about yourself this week 

In this part of the programme we also launch our STRIVE virtual internships (provided by Forage). Your virtual internship(s) is your pathway to your GOLD STRIVE badge, but most importantly, an opportunity for you to try out different roles with different organisations. You will receive feedback directly from the company you have completed your virtual internship with and a certificate of completion.
