Get career ready! (Week 6) builds on getting you work ready, to encouraging you to think about your career! What would you like to do next? What do you want to do in 5 years’ time – what are your goals to get there? What do you need to do to achieve your goals?

Explore career options, create work opportunities and succeed in your goals through our week of events, including:
- TED Talk style keynotes, timetabled for all students
- A range of careers and employability focussed sessions co-delivered by employers, industry professionals, alumni and careers colleagues
- A mid-week graduates fair
- Short courses (e.g. emotional intelligence, project management, carbon literacy)
- Events which students can sign up for according to their availability and interest.
Note:
Please attend the Week 6 STRIVE event, Climbing the career ladder (even when its missing rungs)’ on 5th November is open to ALL students on STRIVE (not just Business & Law). When you have attended the session, pleased reflect on what you learned from the session, with your mentor and record it using the reflection template.
