As well as working through the self study pack – STRIVE has a series of exciting face to face events for you to engage with.
Last week you will have attended the “Get Ready with us” ACE workshop on 14th October in preparation for working and getting the most out on the programme.

Connect hub (formerly Global cafe)
Connect hub is a connected community within a social space. It is run by friend and STRIVE mentor, Yolande Sumbele. It runs every week during term-time and includes activities like Games Nights, painting, ‘chat and chill’. The events foster a sense of community and are open to students beyond the STRIVE programme.

Creative connections
Join us and get creative! These sessions are led by the amazing STRIVE mentor and creative sewist Ingrid Bale, who will be joined by STRIVE Ambassador (and textiles student), Rebecca Thomas.
We will update you on confirmation of the rooms via the updates feature and socials group on Unibuddy.
Our legacy asset for STRIVE is a fabric jigsaw that will be created by you, our STRIVERS. Everyone has the opportunity to contribute to the STRIVE jigsaw which will be showcased at our celebration event in March 2025.
