Stockport County Ladies FC Football Coach

20th April to 31st December
Due to their success and growth, Stockport County Ladies FC are looking for several additional coaches for their junior (girls) football teams, and there are opportunities for lead coaches, assistant coaches and casual coaches.
This activity is brought to you by The Union in partnership with Manchester Community Central

Stockport County Ladies FC are one of the largest and most successful female-only football teams in the area, all of our teams are coached by volunteers and we're now looking for a number of new coaches to get involved with our teams.
Our junior (girls) section is focussed on the fun and development of players; we have teams from U9 up to U16s who all train on a Wednesday evening and play matches in local girls' leagues on Saturday mornings.
We have opportunities for lead coaches who want to take on and lead one of our teams as well as opportunities for assistant coaches to come along and help out with one of our teams. For those that aren't able to commit every week, we're also looking for casual coaches that can help out across a number of teams as and when required.
For our junior teams, no specific experience or knowledge of football is required, we're happy to help develop and support our coaches with training and qualifications, and we're looking for coaches who are positive, enthusiastic and keen to learn. We're particularly interested in hearing from female coaches interested in getting involved with Stockport County Ladies FC.
Our lead coaches will be expected to plan and lead weekly training sessions and take the team for matches on a Saturday morning with the support of an assistant coach and our football development officer. Assistant coaches will support and take elements of training on a Wednesday and would ideally be able to attend matches on a Saturday too. Casual coaches will help out at training across various teams as required but won't be assigned to a specific team, so this is ideal if you'd like to get involved but can't commit to a specific team.
We do also have opportunities to get involved with our ladies' team. We currently operate three teams with our first team playing in Tier 4 of the football pyramid (equivalent to League 2 in men's football). For these roles, we are looking for coaches with experience of coaching either with older age group juniors or senior teams (men's or women's) and you will need to have at least the Level 1 or Introduction to coaching football qualifications.
