Peacemeal Kitchen Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to help prepare food, package meals and clean down.
Peacemeal is a social enterprise bakery and kitchen supporting people in need across Manchester through a fresh meal delivery service. This winter we will be cooking and distributing thousands of meals supporting rough sleepers and people suffering from food and fuel poverty during the coldest time of the year.
We require kitchen hands to support our operation - duties include preparing ingredients (peeling, chopping veg), cooking, boxing and labelling meals, and pot washing.
We have three volunteer shifts:
Thursday 6pm - 9pm (food prep)
Friday 8am - 12pm (cooking, boxing meals)
Friday 12pm - 4pm (wash down, distributing meals)
Location: Unit 14, Windrush Millennium Centre, Alexandra Road, M16 7WD
If you are able to help, register your interest below to receive the link to sign up to a shift.
