Media Department Volunteer

30th January to 30th January
British Muslim Heritage Centre are searching for reliable and trustworthy volunteers to join their organisation.
This activity is brought to you by The Union in partnership with Manchester Community Central

The BMHC is one of the largest registered charities in England and Wales with the goal of bringing communities together, highlighting and combatting social issues, and promoting Equality and Acceptance.

Our Media Department is seeking creative and highly motivated volunteers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate individuals looking to gain hands on experience in video production, storytelling, content creation, and social media.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain real world experience, build your portfolio, network with others, and work on your professional development.

As a media volunteer you will be joining a team of others with similar experience and backgrounds on a variety of projects with many revolving around social issues such as the homelessness, domestic abuse, mental health, climate, and the cost of living crisis.

Experience is not required, both current university students and graduates are welcome to apply.
Training, Support, and Mentoring will be provided.
Professional equipment will be provided.

Please note: This is a voluntary role designed mainly for university students and recent graduates. You may still apply if you don't fit those categories. The BMHC is an equal opportunity organisation and encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply. We are committed to fostering diversity and inclusivity.
