Event Support Volunteers

Afrocats is a small charity that works with women and children - from the global majority - who experience social exclusion in Manchester. We have an upcoming opportunity to support the delivery of our Annual Christmas Party.
This activity is brought to you by The Union in partnership with Manchester Community Central
 
Afrocats is a small charity that works with women and children - from the global majority - who experience social exclusion in Manchester. We have an upcoming opportunity to support the delivery of our Annual Christmas Party.
Volunteer tasks:
- Setting up decorations
- Support in delivering an event for children aged 2-14
- Greeting and assisting visitors with general enquiries
- Actively participating in dancing and/or singing during the event
- Support fellow volunteers
- Tidying up
Volunteers should:
- Be able to travel, either using vehicle or public transport. We’ll reimburse travel expenses
- Feel passionate about bringing positive change to communities in need
- Be 18 years or older and happy to undertake a DBS check
