Driving volunteer
Manchester based charity Greater Together Manchester seeking volunteer drivers on Tuesday and Saturday mornings. Volunteers would support with collecting, transporting and delivering food and household items to our Social Super market based in Miles Platting.
Do you have a vehicle and a couple hours free on Tuesday or Saturday mornings? You can donate your time and support to Greater Together Manchester, an anti-poverty charity who run a Social Super market in Miles Platting, providing low cost food and goods to the community.
We are urgently recruiting for regular driving volunteers to pick up and drop off food at our Social super market. This support would make a huge difference in ensuring people have access to low cost and nutritious food.
Our Food project worker would accompany you for the trip and support with coordinating the delivery.
Ideally we would like a reliable volunteer to support as much as they can, but even if you can only offer one morning a month this would be a huge help! There are also opportunities to support in our social supermarket in addition to this role.
