About Global Shapers Manchester
The Manchester Hub started in January 2020 with the aim to create a community that is focused on making a positive social impact and supporting each through those journeys. As lockdowns were introduced when our hub meetings began, we connected and collaborated through online channels and created several projects which aimed to contribute to the local economy, social isolation, digital inclusion and climate change respectively. Through taking action, working together and reaching out to our local community we managed to create a positive impact in Manchester (as listed in our hub initiatives) and created a safe space where we can reflect on our learning journeys.
We are looking forward to finding new ways to connect with our local community and work together to continue to create a positive social impact in Manchester.
We are now recruiting new members for our hub.
