Community Kitchen Volunteer
Barlow Moor Community Association are looking for a volunteer to help their cook David prepare free lunches for their service users.
Barlow Moor Community Association are looking for a volunteer who is willing to undertake a Level 1 Food Hygiene qualification, which can be done at the centre in Chorlton free of charge, in order to help our cook David prepare lunches over summer - we offer these for free to tackle the cost of living crisis.
The hours would be 10am - 1pm and the role involves jobs such as:
Simple food preparation i.e. chopping
Getting to know our service users and being friendly and welcoming
Preparing a snack for nursery children
Laying the table for lunch
Serving up the lunches
Helping clear away afterwards
