Community Development (Supporting Gregory's Place Community Hub, Ardwick, Manchester)
St Gregory's Place Community Hub is a newly launched Hub in Ardwick, Manchester and we are looking for volunteers to support the work and smooth running of the Hub.
Barnardo's is committed to providing: Better Outcomes for More Children. Our childrens services volunteers help the charity to deliver essential services in local communities, providing support to over 300,000 children, young people and their families. This role provides a great opportunity to join our fantastic childrens services and help make a real difference.
An exciting opportunity to get involved at the very start of the project. Do you have a few hours a week to spare to get involved in strengthening the community in Ardwick? The Hub supports the local community in a variety of ways; hosting Brew and Biscuit Mornings, Uniform Swaps, Family Yoga, Drop In Sessions and more.
Barnardo’s Community Development volunteers help develop networks within the local community, building partnerships with organisations such as schools, clubs, societies and groups.
