Break The Silence
The Break the Silence workshops are designed to be accessible to all; from experienced poets to complete novices. Both students at MMU and staff.
The aim of the workshops is to encourage creative reflection that will lead to increased well-being.
A fun experience of sharing ideas, imaginative writing and hearing poems written in the moment. Furthermore, attendees will develop skills in not only writing, but their abilities in public speaking, group work and skills of reflection will be nurtured.
Themes will include pain and recovery, love and attachment, and change and growth.
An opportunity to share ideas, perform (only if you want to!), write poetry/stories, with a group of like minded MMU students and staff.
Curated and hosted by Chris Seymour (Practice-Based Learning Lecturer, Adult Nursing, MMU)
